This about three different articles but I'm going to concentrate on the Halo in churches. In this article it talks about how churches around the country are using the hit game Halo 3 to attract young people to the church. I think this is very strange, how does a church that is there to teach religion and spread the word of god going to hold Halo nights to get more teens to attend church. Even though its seems morally wrong, it would make me go to church more. If my church offered halo nights in return for an hour of worship then I'm game! Even though I've been in splints and a cast for about three weeks I keep up on my "gaming." Yet It still puzzles me how a place of religion and peace offers one of the most violent games outhere just for teens to go to church, but what ever floats your boat I could really care less what decisions they make.

Andrew the chruchs that have Halo 3 seem to be very hypicritcal. Im pretty sure Halo 3 is against most church rules. Here is an analogy its like having cookies at a densist office.

Hahaha wow of all of the things I thought I would see I never expected to see this. Halo 3 in churches? I guess when I think about it it makes more sence to me. We are in a new age. The number of young people who attend church is decreasing. Technology has taken over most people's lives and sundays are no longer a day of peace and rest but has become a day just as busy as all the other days. With the new ideas of revolution being taught to young people the idea of creationism is not as strong as it used to be. Science for most of us has become a much larger part of our lives than religion. I could actually see this happening. Young people are demanding more technology all the time. Txting is the one thing I see almost everyone do all the time. There isn't a single moment when a teenager can't txt and so they do nearly every minute of every day.
The fact is, technology will soon be the thing we completely depend upon and no one will be able to avoid it.
